Blackstone Hotel

The Blackstone Hotel, built by Bankers Realty Investment Company in 1916, was Omaha’ most prestigious hotel for more than half a century. The pastry shop and various dining rooms—especially the Orleans Room—were famous for fine food, and its ballrooms and roof gardens were the center of Omaha’ finest social functions for many years. The Blackstone Hotel, designated an Omaha Landmark in 1983, is now occupied by several area businesses. And thanks to Upstream, is remembered in the form of a delicious stout.
