Dundee Place
In 1880, real estate developer J. N. H. Patrick hired Shannon Brothers of Kansas
City to construct six homes west of Omaha between 48th and 52nd Streets, Capitol to
California. They named the new addition Dundee Place. Built one house at a time—which
explains the original architecture found from house to house—Dundee was its own village
until 1915 when it was annexed by the City of Omaha. The name still thrives today,
as both a neighborhood and a smooth Scotch Ale
