Chris Himes
House Brewer, Legacy
Currently working on his Microbiology degree at the University of Nebraska - Omaha,
Chris has been at Upstream’s Legacy location since it opened in January 2004. He
credits his brewing knowledge to his co-workers, specifically Head Brewer Zac Triemert,
who transformed his fascination with biology into an obsession with beer. Upon completion
of his degree, Chris hopes to attend a brewing school either at home or abroad. He
loves experimenting with different brewing methods and ingredients and is especially
looking forward to bringing cask conditioned beers to the Legacy restaurant.
