COVID-19

To our Valued Upstream Brewing Company Guests,

As we all know, everything is not business as usual right now. Our lives are going through a challenging time, and we recognize the significant impact COVID-19 is having.  This is especially true for the restaurant industry.

We here at the brewpub take the safety, health and wellbeing of you and our team members very seriously.  Our thoughts are with all those affected by the outbreak.  We wanted you to know that while we have always held ourselves to a high standard, we are taking additional steps to combat COVID-19.  Here are some of the steps we are taking:

Sanitation:

We utilize an EPA approved hospital grade disinfectant cleaner that specifically kills the COVID-19 virus by cleaning all high surface areas such as doorknobs, railings, etc. multiple times a day.

We do additional deep cleaning after the business day throughout our establishment by a third-party cleaning company

We have contracted with a third-party company to deep clean our restroom facilities

We do in house restroom maintenance every 30 minutes

We monitor and enforce frequent hand-washing of all employees

We currently and always have made the investment of using single use sanitizer wipes on menus, tables, chairs, bar tops, etc.

We go above and beyond the standard set by National Restaurant Association ServSafe Personal Hygiene Program for both service and kitchen team members

Team Member Health and Well-Being:

Leadership has been made aware to look for the relevant symptoms of illness at the beginning and throughout each shift to identify potential issues to act swiftly and send affected individuals home when needed.

Our staff has been made aware of our policies in regard to illness and our reaffirmed commitment to their wellbeing and encouraging them to take care of themselves by staying home at the first sign of illness.

In order to keep up with the constantly evolving conditions surrounding COVID-19, we monitor the websites of the following organizations daily: World Health Organization (WHO), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), National Restaurant Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).   This is done with your safety, health, and wellbeing in the forefront of our minds.

It is understandable in these uncertain times that you might choose to not want to go out in public to dine in our establishment.  We want to remind you that we also deliver via Grubhub and DoorDash.  If you need catering for more than 10 individuals, we are more than happy to bring the meal to you.  Feel free to reach out to our Event Coordinator, Chip Allen at 402-344-8013 or callen@upstreambrewing.com.

During tough times, local business could use your support. One way to provide that is through the purchase of gift cards for use at a later time. Many establishments have them available through their website. Our website is www.upstreambrewing.com.

Remember, take care of yourself and each other.
